Mortgage Applications Increase in Latest MBA Weekly Survey

Mortgage applications increased 11% from one week earlier, according to data from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Weekly Mortgage Applications Survey for the week ending Feb. 27, 2026.

Housing Supply Gap Surpasses 4 Million Homes, Realtor.com Finds

The U.S. housing supply gap widened to an estimated 4.03 million homes last year, increasing from 3.8 million in 2024, according to the 2026 Housing Supply Gap Report from Realtor.com.

Cotality: U.S. Mortgage Delinquency Rate Flat in December

Cotality, Irvine, Calif., released its latest Loan Performance Indicators, finding that the national mortgage delinquency rate was flat year-over-year in December, standing at 3.2%.
