Mortgage Applications Increase in Latest MBA Weekly Survey

Mortgage applications increased 6.3% from one week earlier, according to data from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Weekly Mortgage Applications Survey for the week ending Nov. 22, 2024.

New Home Sales Fall in October, Census Bureau Reports

The U.S. Census Bureau and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development released residential sales statistics for October 2024, finding that sales for the month were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 610,000.

S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Index Finds 3.9% Annual Gain in September

A popular measure of U.S. home prices recorded a 3.9% annual gain in September, a slight deceleration from the previous rate.
