Macy’s Opts for Smaller Makeover

Macy’s said Tuesday that it chose not to move forward on a spinoff of its e-commerce business. The execution risk was too high, as were the costs that would arise from debt separation and from operating separate businesses, CEO Jeff Gennette in an earnings call.
