Christine Chandler, Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer and Chief Operating Officer with M&T Realty Capital Corporation, was sworn in as 2026 Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association during the association’s 2025 Annual Convention & Expo.
LAS VEGAS--The Mortgage Bankers Association announced at its 2025 Annual Convention and Expo that Chioma Kalu has been recognized as the David H. Stevens Real Estate Legacy Scholarship award winner. The award recognizes students from MBA’s Commercial Real Estate Finance Fellowship Program and HomeFree-USA’s Center for Financial Advancement Program who have shown career aspirations in the real estate finance industry.
The Mortgage Bankers Association swore in its Board of Directors for the 2025 membership year at its 2025 Annual Convention and Expo. The Board of Directors will be chaired by Christine Chandler, Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer and Chief Operating Officer with M&T Realty Capital Corporation (RCC). MBA also announced the members of its Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG), Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG), and the respective chairs for each committee in 2026.
The Mortgage Bankers Association announced at its 2025 Annual Convention and Expo that total single-family mortgage origination volume is expected to increase to $2.2 trillion in 2026 from $2.0 trillion expected in 2025.
