Peter Akwaboah to Be New Fannie Mae Chief Operating Officer
Fannie Mae has welcomed Peter Akwaboah as Chief Operating Officer, effective May 20. He has nearly three decades of experience across the financial services industry.

He will be responsible for Fannie Mae’s Chief Information Office, Enterprise Operations, Business Resiliency, and Enterprise Workplace and Security functions.

He is currently a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer for Technology and the Head of Innovation at Morgan Stanley.

Xactus Welcomes Michael Crockett as Chief Operating Officer

Xactus, Broomall, Pa., has announced that Michael Crockett was named Chief Operating Officer.

Previously Crockett served as Chief Data Officer for the company. He will now guide the day-to-day operations at Xactus and key departments, among other duties.

He has more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience.

Cenlar Appoints New Leaders to Corporate Initiatives Group

Cenlar, Ewing, N.J., announced the appointment of Catherine French to Senior Vice President and Head of the Corporate Initiatives Group. Julie Mabie was named Senior Vice President and Himanshu Maheshwari Vice President.

Prior to joining Cenlar, French was Senior Vice President of Program Management, Transformation & Integration at Newrez LLC/Caliber Home Loans.

Mabie has more than 25 years of experience in the industry and was most recently with MUFG Union Bank.

Himanshu also has more than 25 years of experience in the field. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Operations at Mr. Cooper.

Polly Cracchiolo Joins Click n’ Close

Polly Cracchiolo has joined Click n’ Close, Addison, Texas, as an Account Executive on the company’s third-party originator sales team.

Cracchiolo has more than two decades of lending experience and specializes in government and conventional loans.

She joins from Eleven Mortgage, where she was a Senior Account Executive. She’s also worked at First Guaranty Mortgage Corp., Mr. Cooper, Banc Home Loans and others.

Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. Adds Scott Gallinghouse

Westcor Land Title Insurance Co., Maitland, Fla., has added Scott Gallinghouse as Underwriting Counsel in Louisiana as part of the South Central States region.

He has more than three decades of underwriting experience in the real estate and title insurance space.

Gallinghouse retired from First American Title Insurance Co. in 2022.
