Michael Hutchins Named Interim CEO of Freddie Mac

Freddie Mac announced Michael Hutchins, currently President, as Interim CEO. He will also be a member of Freddie Mac’s Board of Directors, and will continue serving as President.

The GSE is continuing its search for a permanent CEO.

Hutchins has been President of Freddie Mac since 2020 and is a member of the Senior Operating Committee. He has more than three decades of experience in the financial services industry.

Optimal Blue Welcomes Sara Holtz as Chief Marketing Officer

Optimal Blue, Plano, Texas, announced the appointment of Sara Holtz as Chief Marketing Officer.

Holtz will drive unified marketing and communications strategies.

She was previously with ICE Mortgage Technology, where she most recently was Vice President of Demand Marketing and Communications. She joined ICE after the company’s acquisition of Ellie Mae in 2020.

AmeriHome Mortgage Announces Organizational Changes

AmeriHome Mortgage, Thousand Oaks, Calif., announced some changes to its leadership.

Anthony Ho will become new Managing Director, Chief Credit Officer. Greg McElroy will become Managing Director, Chief Operations Officer, Steve Kolker will become Managing Director, Correspondent Sales, and Peter Roeske will become Managing Director, Retail Lending.

Additionally Chief Operating Officer John Hedlund, Chief Risk Officer Mark Miller and Chief Information Officer Dave Andersen will be departing the company next month.

Planet Home Lending Adds Matt Kingsborough as Regional Sales Manager

Planet Home Lending, Meriden, Conn., announced the addition of Matt Kingsborough as Regional Sales Manager.

He has more than two decades of experience in mortgage lending. Prior to joining Planet, he was a Multistate Regional Area Manager for HomeBridge Financial Services and Prospect Mortgage’s Northern California Regional Manager.

He will seek to drive Planet’s expansion in the Western U.S. market.
