JLL Capital Markets’ Denver office arranged $172 million in financing for acquisition of the newly completed Four Seasons Hotel Nashville.
JLL worked on behalf of the sponsorship, a joint venture among GD Holdings, Stonebridge Development Co. and Copford Capital Management LLC, to secure the acquisition financing through Credit Suisse.
The JLL Capital Markets team representing the borrower was led by Senior Managing Director Eric Tupler, Executive Vice President Jeff Bucaro, Senior Managing Director Brian Dawson and America’s CEO of JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group Kevin Davis.
Newly delivered in 2022, the Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is a 40-story, full-service luxury hotel with 235 keys, including 42 suites. It features a restaurant led by a Michelin-distinguished chef, unique bar concept, a full-service spa and resort-style pool deck and modern event spaces.
The hotel is situated on a 1.47-acre site at 100 Demonbreun St. in the South Broadway area of downtown Nashville, and is connected to the Shelby Avenue pedestrian bridge, which leads directly to Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans. In addition, the hotel is adjacent to Riverfront Park and the Cumberland River, and just minutes from Music City Center, where the Mortgage Bankers Association hosted its most recent Annual Convention & Expo, and Broadway Street, Nashville’s entertainment and tourist district.
“Nashville hosted 12.6 million visitors in 2021 and continues to see consistent year-over-year tourism growth along with an exploding year-round residential population,” Tupler said.
