Lisa Heitzmann, CMB, Joins Deephaven Mortgage as Chief Operating Officer
Deephaven Mortgage, Charlotte, N.C., appointed Lisa Heitzmann, CMB, as Chief Operating Officer. She will oversee operations of Deephaven’s internal underwriting, wholesale and correspondent teams.
Heitzmann has a broad and deep background in all facets of the mortgage business, including credit, risk, compliance, quality and production. Before coming to Deephaven, she was a mortgage industry consultant focused on process assessment and optimization. She holds the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Former Fannie Mae Executive Andrew Bon Salle Joins Polly Board of Directors
Polly, San Francisco, announced Andrew Bon Salle joined the company’s board of directors.
Over the course of his nearly three-decade tenure at Fannie Mae, Bon Salle served in various leadership positions, including Executive Vice President of Single-Family Mortgage Business. In that role, he oversaw all Single-Family capital market functions and managed the growth and performance of Fannie Mae’s credit portfolio.
GO Companies Launches, Led by Michael Isaacs
GO Companies LLC, Columbus, Ohio, announced the launch of its business and its intent to form a one-stop shop for homebuyers that includes mortgages, real estate brokerage services and title services. GO Mortgage was formerly known as GSF Mortgage, a Brookfield, Wis.-based full-service mortgage lender. In addition, the company bought a controlling stake in 3 Degrees Realty, a residential real estate brokerage, and a minority stake in MeyMax Title, a residential real estate title insurance company.
GO Companies will be led by Michael Isaacs. Isaacs has more than 20 years of experience operating real estate businesses, including mortgage banking companies. He will serve as CEO of GO Companies.
First American Financial Corp. Promotes Paul Hurst as Chief Innovation Officer
First American Financial Corp., Santa Ana, Calif., appointed Paul Hurst as chief innovation officer. He be responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate through strategic venture investments, partnerships and mergers and acquisitions. He will continue to serve as the managing director of the company’s venture investing arm.
Prior to joining First American, Hurst was a partner at a leading international consulting firm, where he applied a process-based approach to innovation to launch and scale five venture-backed companies across three continents, spanning insurance, financial services and real estate. Before that he advised Fortune 100 companies on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and digital transformation.
Stewart Title Promotes Nathan Preuit to North Texas Division President
Stewart Title, Houston, promoted Nathan Preuit to Division President for North Texas, responsible for leading efforts to grow the North Texas sales team and branches, recruit talent and expand the client base with a focus on continued revenue growth. He will also continue managing the North Texas sales team in addition to his new duties.
Preuit joined Stewart in October 2021 as North Texas Sales manager. He has more than 30 years of experience in the title industry, managing all levels of sales and escrow throughout his career.
NewPoint Adds Marc Cesare as Dallas Managing Director
NewPoint Real Estate Capital LLC, Washington, D.C., named Marc Cesare as a Managing Director based in the firm’s Dallas area office. He will focus on conventional multifamily and affordable housing lending throughout the Sun Belt and beyond.
Before joining NewPoint, Cesare was with Truist, where he originated real estate financing transactions valued at $4 billion across Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA/HUD and bridge loan programs. His experience encompasses lead roles for underwriting affordable housing properties, including 4% bond transactions, Section 8 assets, and managing layers of subordinate financing. Cesare has spent his entire 20-plus-year career in the multifamily lending arena. He began as a credit analyst and was a Chief Underwriter before shifting his focus to production.
Infinity IPS Promotes John Hutchinson to COO; Adds Kevin Jenks, Peter Gilbert as Directors
Infinity IPS, Rockville, Md., promoted John Hutchison to Chief Operating Officer and hired Kevin Jenks to serve as Director of Whole Loan Trading & Due Diligence Sales, and Peter Gilbert to serve as Director of Due Diligence.
Hutchison joined the company in 2013 and brings more than 40 years of financial services experience to his new position. Prior to joining Infinity, he was Principal with Capital Markets Consultant Group. Before that, he served as Director for Opus CMC, Senior Vice-President for American Mortgage Consultants Inc, and Lead for Clayton Holdings. He started his career in 1985 at Advanta Mortgage in the internal audit group.
Jenks has more than 20 years of capital markets experience as an institutional investment manager. He most recently served as Portfolio Strategist and Lead Consultant for KRJ Capital Advisors LLC. Prior to that he was a trader and Manager of Structured Products for Morgan Joseph Tri-Artisan LLC. He also served as Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Structured Products for Apeirogon Capital LLC and Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Head of Structured Products for HBK Investments.
Gilbert most recently served as Chief Credit & Risk Officer for CMG Financial, a position he has held since 2014. Prior to that, he was Chief Credit Officer with Residential Finance Corp., and before that Chief Credit Officer with New Penn Financial. He also served as Chief Operations Officer for Preferred Trust Home Loans and Divisional Senior Vice President for Bank of America.
