MBA Education Advanced Risk Management: Beyond the Basics June 7-21

MBA Education Presents Advanced Risk Management: Beyond the Basis, from June 7-21.

For the past several years, MBA Education and The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business have partnered to deliver best-in-class risk management to single-family mortgage finance professionals. To make this valued content more accessible and applicable to individuals at different stages in their career, MBA and Maryland have decided to separate the program into three distinct sections. This first offering, Essentials, will start with the essentials of risk management – providing a great foundation with risk management concepts. The second offering, Beyond the Basics, starts to dive in more complex material. Students in the Beyond the Basics sessions will analyze practical scenarios that help them to more confidently identify and anticipate red flags. The final and more Advanced session offers a highly intensive and interactive in-person session at MBA’s Risk Management, QA and Fraud Prevention Forum. If you are interested in attending all three sections at a discounted price, please see our Advanced Risk Management Package

Geared towards professionals with 5+ years of risk management experience, Beyond the Basics will bring real-life into the classroom. Delivered through a live instructor-led online format, attendees will be exposed to practical scenarios that the majority of risk management professionals can expect to encounter at some point in their career. This program will bring broad exposure to risk management in the residential loan lifecycle, challenging attendees to think outside of their particular area of expertise or company’s business channels. After attending this session, attendees will be able to more confidently identify and anticipate red flags and speak to leaders both across the organization but also service providers and vendors.
