CoreLogic Names Patrick Dodd CEO
CoreLogic, Irvine, Calif., appointed Patrick Dodd president and chief executive officer. He will continue to serve on the company’s board of directors.
Dodd was named interim chief executive officer in January. Prior to that, Dodd served as the company’s chief operating and growth officer. Previously, he spent nearly 30 years with Nielsen, serving most recently as Global President and Chief Commercial Officer and as President of international Markets.
Sales Boomerang, Mortgage Coach Merge, Richard Harris Named CEO
Sales Boomerang, Owings Mill, Md., and Mortgage Coach, Irvine, Calif., announced their merger and appointed SaaS executive Richard Harris as CEO.
Prior to Mortgage Coach and Sales Boomerang, Harris was CEO at SparkPost, an email sending and optimization platform delivering 40% of the world’s commercial email. Before his tenure at SparkPost, he was group vice president at cloud technology company Oracle, where he led international operations of its Data Cloud business unit. He was previously CEO at consumer insights and digital ad personalization company AddThis.
Alex Kutsishin and Dave Savage, founders of Sales Boomerang and Mortgage Coach, will continue to actively nurture the company and its relationships in leadership roles.
iEmergent Appoints Megan Horn Chief Marketing Officer
iEmergent, Des Moines, Iowa, appointed Megan Horn as chief marketing officer; she will oversee marketing, public relations, brand management and customer experience.
Prior to her appointment as CMO, Horn consulted with iEmergent through her own outfit, Megan Horn Digital. In this capacity, she was instrumental in developing iEmergent’s website, brand messaging and digital strategy. Before iEmergent, she was marketing director at Far Reach, iEmergent’s technology development partner. Horn has also held positions at marketing and advertising agencies, where she acquired a diverse skill set including content strategy and development, social media management, graphic design and public relations.
OrangeGrid Names Denis Brosnan President; Announces Promotions
OrangeGrid, Dallas, hired Denis Brosnan as President and announced several staff promotions.
Brosnan has spent decades leading a variety of fintech companies with a special focus on the mortgage servicing industry. He first joined the company in 2021 and served as both chief product officer and corporate development officer until his recent promotion to his current position.
OrangeGrid also announced the following promotions:
JC Espino – The company’s director, Customer Solutions Design, is responsible for the definition, design and use-case development of the OrangeGrid product. Previously, he worked at a variety of technology and financial organizations including JP Morgan Chase Bank and HSBC Consumer Lending.
Rob Pajon – The new senior vice president, Marketing and Product has driven executive marketing and product development initiatives in the default servicing industry for 16 years and will lead the company’s product marketing efforts to generate awareness, sales leads, and revenue generation.
Gabriel Varga – The new senior vice president of Product has two decades of experience leading business process innovation efforts for many financial organizations, including Mr. Cooper and Ocwen Financial Corp.
Connie Baringer – The new director of talent and culture has spent many years performing all human resources functions for companies within the mortgage servicing industry.
K. Sean Walker – The new graphic designer/marketing assistant leads OrangeGrid’s digital and print layout and design projects and conducts market research.
JLL Capital Markets Launches Boston Multi-Housing Team
JLL Capital Markets announced Managing Director Martha Nay has been appointed to lead its newly formed multi-housing investment sales advisory team in its Boston office.
Nay will work with Director Kellie Coveney to provide investment sales advisory services for multi-housing clients in the Boston market. Nay and Coveney will work closely with Director Jacqueline Meagher, who specializes in multi-housing debt and equity advisory. The trio is the only all-female multi-housing brokerage team in the Boston market.
Nay, Coveney and Meagher all joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition in 2019. Together, the team brings in nearly 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. Collectively, they have been involved in more than $6 billion dollars of commercial real estate transactions.
Aureus Finance Group Names Todd William Harris EVP of Business Development
Aureus Finance Group, Los Angeles, named Todd William Harris as EVP of Business Development.
With more than 20 years of experience, Harris was an integral part of the original Genesis Capital team, founded by Aureus’ founder and CEO, Trixy Castro, and later acquired by Goldman Sachs in 2018.
NewPoint Hires Henry ‘Skip’ Martinson as Managing Director
NewPoint Real Estate Capital LLC, Charlotte, N.C., hired Henry “Skip” Martinson as Managing Director of Conventional Originations. Based out of Charlotte, he will play a role in the firm’s Agency and Proprietary Lending Platforms, focusing specifically on conventional multifamily and student housing properties.
Martinson joins NewPoint with more than two decades of commercial real estate finance and loan originations experience, including large-scale transactions for a clientele of regional developers, REITs and institutional investors. Throughout his 15 years at PNC Real Estate, he originated loans for a variety of multifamily property types – including conventional multifamily as well as student, affordable and seniors housing – with an initial focus on the Southeast before shifting his scope to the entire Eastern U.S. Prior to PNC, ge originated Agency, conduit and structured finance loans across the Southeast with Arbor Realty Trust and was with Wells Fargo’s Real Estate Merchant Banking group working on bridge and mezzanine loans.
