Lenderworks Names Alexandra Templ Chief Legal Officer

Alexandra Temple

Lenderworks, Fairfax, Va., named Alexandra Temple to serve as its Chief Legal Officer, responsible for all legal affairs, including legal counsel, oversight of compliance and regulatory matters and risk management. She will also assist external clients in the mortgage industry as a consultant on matters of compliance and risk management strategy.

Temple joins Lenderworks having most recently served as a principal with law firm Offit Kurman P.A. Prior to that, she practiced with Weiner Brodsky Kider PC. She began her career as an attorney in regulatory compliance with national mortgage lender First Guaranty Mortgage Corp.

Steve Lineberger

Freddie Mac Multifamily Promotes Steve Lineberger, Meg McElgunn to Vice Presidents of Production

Freddie Mac Multifamily, McLean, Va., named Steve Lineberger and Meg McElgunn vice presidents of Production & Sales. Lineberger will oversee the Western and Central regions and McElgunn will lead the Northeast and Southeast regions.

Lineberger was formerly senior director of Conventional Production & Sales for the Western region. He joined Freddie Mac Multifamily in 2012, having previously worked in both asset management and residential property brokerage.

McElgunn most recently served as senior director of the Multifamily Small Balance Loans team, leading that business nationwide. She has a long history with Freddie Mac, having worked with the company from 2008-2012 in the Central region, focused on Conventional, Seniors and Student Housing, then rejoining in 2018 to focus on the SBL business.

Kevin M. Davis

JLL Promotes Kevin M. Davis to Americas CEO of Hotels & Hospitality

JLL, New York, named Kevin M. Davis Americas CEO of its Hotels & Hospitality division.

Davis, who leads JLL’s Hotel Investment Banking group, brings more than 20 years of hospitality and capital markets experience to the role. Since joining JLL in 2013, he has been involved in more than $20 billion of hotel debt and equity financings. He spent 13 years prior to JLL working in the commercial real estate groups at Merrill Lynch and UBS, in addition to co-founding a debt fund business following the Financial Crisis. Previously, he worked as an attorney on Capitol Hill, where he served as a policy advisor to members of the House and Senate Banking Committees. 

David Gahagan

Grandbridge Real Estate Capital LLC Hires New Boca Raton Team

Grandbridge Real Estate Capital LLC hired David B. Gahagan as senior vice president to manage the firm’s new Boca Raton office.

With more than 30 years of experience, Gahagan provides financing opportunities to commercial real estate developers, investors and owners across all asset classes. He has originated debt with Fannie/Freddie/HUD, life insurance companies and bank capital sources, assisting clients with construction, permanent, bridge and structured finance needs. Returning to Grandbridge after a nine-year stint with Walker & Dunlop where he held a production and management role, Gahagan has held previous production roles with Legg Mason Real Estate Services (10 years) and Grandbridge (9 years).

Additional Boca Raton new hires include Marty McGrogan, Vice President, Niki Perez, Vice President, Christopher Hammel, Vice President and Ariel Zucker, Vice President.

McGrogan has been in commercial real estate finance for 21 years. He began his career in Chicago with LaSalle Bank and opened their South Florida office in 2004. In 2007, he joined KeyBank in originations and was a valuable portfolio manager during the market downturn. He later joined KeyBank’s Agency Production Group. In 2013, he joined Walker & Dunlop in it Fort Lauderdale Capital Markets office.

Perez has more than 16 years of experience in commercial real estate. She began her career with Grandbridge as a production analyst. She has been with Walker and Dunlop for the past 10 years in various roles and most recently as an associate director. 

Prior to joining Grandbridge, Hammel was a senior analyst for Walker & Dunlop’s capital markets group and has held similar positions with BBVA Compass and Hudson Advisors (Lone Star Capital). He has more than 10 years of commercial real estate finance experience.

Zucker began his career at Walker and Dunlop as a financial analyst and was most recently an associate director.
