Button Finance Names Amanda Niswonger Senior Account Manager
Button Finance Inc., New York, appointed Amanda Niswonger as Senior Account Manager, focusing on developing and nurturing institutional mortgage broker relationships.
Niswonger brings more than 15 years of sales experience in the mortgage industry. She previously worked at AIG and other leading mortgage insurers, where she generated more than half a billion dollars in sales in 2020. Amanda has been recognized as a leader with multiple awards and honors. She is also a member of the Texas Association of Mortgage Bankers.
Button Finance has also hired Brendan Breitinger as Account Executive. Before Button Finance, he held positions at Rocket Mortgage and United Wholesale.
Longtime Mortgage Technology Leader Roger Gudobba Passes Away
Roger Gudobba, who spent nearly two decades serving in various capacities with MISMO and a 40-year-plus career in the mortgage industry, passed away on Feb. 6. He was 83.
A “giant in mortgage technology,” Mr. Gudobba served in executive positions with VMP, Wolters Kluwer and CSi. For 17 years he volunteered with MISMO, serving on various committees during its formative years to bring technology standardization to the mortgage industry, including the Residential Standards Governance Committee; Strategic Planning Committee; and Membership and Revenue Committee.
Mr. Gudobba was selected as a Mortgage Banking Tech All-Star in 2005 (now known as the MBA NewsLink Tech All-Star Awards). He was also recipient of Mortgage Technology magazine’s Steve Fraser Visionary Award in 2004 and the Lasting Impact Award in 2008.
Mr. Gudobba also served in an editorial and advisory capacity with PROGRESS in Lending, started by Anthony Garritano, formerly of Mortgage Technology magazine. Garritano said Mr. Gudobba coined the phrase “It’s all about the data.”
Mr. Gudobba is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending.
ReverseVision Taps Scott Shepherd to Lead Marketing
ReverseVision, San Diego, hired Scott Shepherd to head its marketing efforts. As head of marketing, he oversees ReverseVision’s marketing department and is responsible for the design and implementation of its new marketing strategy.
Shepherd has an extensive marketing background. Over the course of six years, he was central to the development and growth of the eOriginal brand, ultimately leading to an acquisition by Wolters Kluwer in 2020. Prior to joining ReverseVision, he headed the marketing strategy at Unleashed Technologies, a web development and digital services firm with commercial and non-profit clients in multiple vertical markets, including financial services. In addition, he has been an editor, journalist and a public relations specialist.
Azimuth GRC Adds Ross Gloudeman, Mike Redmon
Azimuth GRC, Jacksonville, Fla., named Ross Gloudeman general counsel and chief compliance officer and Mike Redmon director of financial planning and analysis.
Gloudeman joins Azimuth GRC with more than 15 years of experience in legal, risk and compliance management at Home Point Capital, Walter Investment Management Corp., and Black Knight Inc.
Redmon joins the Azimuth GRC team with more than a decade of experience in finance and business operations at Volly and Black Knight Inc.
