Longtime MBA Employee Lesley Hall Passes Away

Lesley Hall, who worked at the Mortgage Bankers Association for nearly 24 years in support of Mortgage Banking magazine and the MBA Newslink publications, passed away on Dec. 9 following an illness. She was 61.

Ms. Hall joined MBA in 1998 and spent 18 years serving as Deputy Editor of Mortgage Banking under Janet Reilley Hewitt. In 2016 after the magazine folded into MBA NewsLink, she joined NewsLink as Senior Editorial and Advertising Specialist. She contributed articles to both MBA NewsLink and the MBA Annual Convention & Expo Show Guide, as well as serving on the front lines of NewsLink advertising and fulfillment.

Funeral arrangements took place privately earlier this month. A memorial service is planned for the spring.

The NewsLink team and MBA are devastated by Lesley’s loss. She was a valued colleague whose work ethic was unmatched and whose daily presence made MBA a better place. We extend our condolences to Lesley’s family and many friends.
