Mortgage Apps for New Home Purchases Decreased in March

The Mortgage Banker’s Association reported a 5% year-over-year decrease in mortgage applications for new home purchases in March, according to its latest Builder Application Survey, while growth in applications for larger loans continued to “dominate application activity.”
