Forbearances Down For 12th Consecutive Week

The Mortgage Bankers Association’s Forbearance and Call Volume Survey reported the total number of loans in forbearance declined for the 12th consecutive week to 4.19% as of May 16, 2021. MBA still estimates there are 2.1 million homeowners currently in forbearance plans.
