Walker & Dunlop Acquires Beler Advisory Group in New York

Walker & Dunlop, Bethesda, Md., acquired independent real estate advisory firm Beler Advisory Group in New York.

Beler Advisory Group Key Principal Mo Beler joined Walker & Dunlop as Senior Managing Director of the New York City Capital Markets Debt and Equity Team led by Aaron Appel, Jonathan Schwartz, Keith Kurland and Adam Schwartz.

Prior to founding Beler Advisory Group, Beler served as a Vice Chairman within JLL Capital Markets. While at JLL, he was directly involved in commercial transactions totaling more than $2 billion. Before joining JLL, he was Principal and Head of investments at Innovo Property Group and earlier served as a vice president within Rockwood Capital’s acquisition group.

Colliers International Acquires Maser Consulting

Colliers International, Toronto, acquired a controlling interest in engineering design service firm Maser Consulting P.A., Red Bank, N.J.

Maser’s senior leadership team will retain a significant equity stake in the business. The operations will be rebranded as “Colliers Engineering Services” in first-half 2021. Founded in 1994, Maser’s 1,000-plus professionals operate from 34 offices in 12 states. Company revenue equaled $167 million last year.
