Sung Lee Joins CBRE
CBRE announced Sung Lee joined its Valuation & Advisory Services team as Head of Fund Valuations for the Americas.
Lee has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and specializes in valuing institutional real estate. Based in New York City, he is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with leading real estate investors and investment managers within the private fund and institutional space. He will partner with CBRE’s VAS leaders to ensure the consistent execution of services across geographies and property types.
Lee joined CBRE from Altus Group, a provider of software and advisory services to the global commercial real estate industry, where he was most recently Co-Head of Global Advisory & Mergers and Acquisitions. He had been with Altus Group since 2010, holding senior roles including Head of Global Accounts and Global Head of Business Development. Prior to that, he was at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Intercontinental Investments.
JLL Appoints Erin Meezan Chief Sustainability Officer
JLL, Chicago, appointed Erin Meezan its new Chief Sustainability Officer effective October 1.
Meezan will be responsible for growing JLL’s sustainability program, continuing its reputation as a purpose-led organization and its commitment to playing a leading role in sustainable real estate operations. Meezan succeeded Richard Batten upon his retirement.
Meezan joins JLL with more than 19 years of sustainability experience. In her role as Chief Sustainability Officer at Interface Inc., she led and surpassed company goals to achieve carbon neutrality across all product lines, developed its strategy to achieve a carbon-negative enterprise by 2040 and achieved early success in its 25-year sustainability mission to have no environmental impact by 2020.
Travis Parrott Promoted to Market Leader of Newmark’s Portland Office
Newmark promoted Travis Parrott to Market Leader of the Portland office to work alongside local brokerage operations leadership and oversee growth initiatives. He will continue his role as Managing Director, where he specializes in office leasing throughout the Portland region.
