Rachel Vinson Appointed President of Debt and Structured Finance for the U.S.

CBRE, Dallas, appointed Rachel Vinson President of Debt and Structured Finance for the United States.

Vinson will lead CBRE’s DSF business in the U.S. and will be responsible for the continued expansion of the firm’s debt platform nationally. CBRE’s Debt and Structured Finance teams closed $80 billion in loan production during 2021.

“Rachel is a uniquely skilled real estate finance professional with a deep understanding of the commercial debt space. She will provide invaluable leadership as we continue to grow our DSF business in the U.S. and further differentiate the breadth of the strategic advice we provide to borrowers and lenders,” said Brian Stoffers, Global President of DSF for CBRE.

Vinson, based in Dallas, has more than 20 years of experience with commercial real estate and financial organizations. She most recently led the operations of CBRE’s global Capital Markets business and previously led CBRE’s Americas Advisory Finance organization. Prior to joining CBRE in 2019, she spent six years with Barings Multifamily Capital LLC, where she elevated to President, overseeing strategic direction and operations for the loan origination and servicing company.

Largo Group of Cos. Welcomes Kevin Ross

Largo Group of Cos. welcomed Kevin Ross back to the firm as Head of Largo’s Canadian Operations.

Ross started with Largo in 2012 and initiated Largo’s expansion to Montreal, which led to the opening of Largo’s first office in the market and has since originated $1 billion throughout Quebec.

JLL Capital Markets Affordable Housing Production Team Hires Leif Olsen

JLL Capital Hired Director Leif Olsen for its affordable housing production team. He is based in the firm’s Denver office and will focus on originating debt and providing capital markets solutions to sponsors both locally and nationally.

Olsen joined JLL after almost six years as Assistant Vice President of Affordable Originations with Lument Capital, formerly known as Hunt Real Estate Capital. In this role, he originated multifamily loans securitized by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD and successfully managed over 100 affordable transactions from prescreen through closing. Prior to this role, he served as FHA Senior Underwriting Analyst with Walker & Dunlop.
