MBA, USMI Endorse Thompson As Next FHFA Director

President Biden on Tuesday formally nominated Acting Director Sandra L. Thompson to be the next director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency. Thompson’s nomination was quickly endorsed by the Mortgage Bankers Association, as MBA President & CEO Bob Broeksmit issued a statement.
