MBA offers the only certification and designation program geared exclusively toward compliance professionals in the mortgage finance industry, the Certified Mortgage Compliance Professional (CMCP) Certification and Designation program.
You can now enroll yourself or your team in the CMCP certification and designation program to enhance your knowledge, strengthen your Compliance Management System, and demonstrate your company’s commitment to compliance to state and federal regulators.
Compliance professionals working directly for mortgage lenders as compliance officers, specialists, analysts, etc.
Attorneys and consultants who work for or with mortgage lenders in the compliance arena.
Mortgage professionals who wish to strengthen their knowledge and bona fides regarding the laws and regulations that affect their business.
Quality Control Professionals

Federal and state regulators
Level I: One year of industry experience is recommended, but not required.
Level II: One to two years of industry experience is recommended. Completion of Mortgage Compliance Level I Certificate is required.
Level III: Two or more years of industry experience is recommended. Completion of Mortgage Compliance Level I and II Certificate is required.
Recertification: Keeping Up Your CMCP
Maintain your designation by completing two points of continuing education every two years. Continuing education can be earned by successfully completing any self-study course not previously taken or by attending MBA conferences and/or conventions. Prior to the end of the two-year period, designees must complete the Recertification Form and pay a $100 recertification fee.
