Agency MBS Issuance Still Searching for a Bottom, October Volume Down 19%

Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae issued a total of $95.62 billion of single-family MBS last month. That was down 18.5% from September and represented the lowest monthly output since April 2019.
