Freddie Mac Ending Automated Appraisal Waivers on Cash-Out Refinances

On Wednesday, March 16, the same day the Federal Reserve raised its benchmark interest rate, mortgage giant Freddie Mac announced it will no longer allow these appraisal waivers on cash-out refinances and certain “no-cash out” refinances, effective July 17. (MBA mention)
