On Tuesday, MBA sent a letter to CFPB requesting the Bureau provide the industry with the statutory basis for its requests to obtain privileged attorney-client communications during supervisory examinations.

Also last week, MBA sent a letter to FHFA and the GSEs outlining concerns regarding the GSEs’ temporary condominium requirements on deferred maintenance and structural integrity for condo and co-op projects.
