Sagent: Sagent is helping to lead the transformation of America’s $15 trillion mortgage servicing industry by replacing legacy, fragmented systems with modern, real-time technology.
By powering America’s top bank and nonbank mortgage servicers to engage, care for, retain, and modernize the homeownership experience for millions of borrowers, our products are revolutionizing the servicing and homeowning experience at every touch point.
Dara, Sagent’s revolutionary servicing platform, is the mortgage industry’s first cloud-native, end-to-end servicing system, unifying all data and user experiences for servicers and homeowners. Built by servicers for servicers, Dara streamlines and simplifies the servicing experience at every step.
More than 40 mortgage and consumer lending clients, representing over 30% of the industry, now run on Sagent’s platforms, servicing more than 16 million active loans and over $2.5 trillion in unpaid principal balance.
MBA NewsLink: What are some key trends your company is tracking?
Sagent: Sagent is constantly monitoring industry trends, while simultaneously setting new standards for mortgage servicing with our revolutionary platforms. Dara was built to modernize mortgage servicing by embedding real-time data, AI, and a cloud-native, open-API ecosystem directly into its system.
That commitment keeps Sagent closely engaged with how AI and data regulation are evolving at every level of government, since Dara is designed to comprehend and act on regulatory change almost instantly, eliminating common delays for regulatory compliance.
Today, Sagent’s compliance team tracks nearly 9,000 distinct servicing rules across the CFPB, the GSEs, FHA, VA, USDA, and all 50 states, making it critical that Sagent track these ever-evolving requirements in real time.
In addition to AI and compliance, Sagent is tracking the industry’s shift toward consumer-first servicing, as borrowers increasingly expect the same real-time, self-service experience from their mortgage that they get from their bank or credit card. We believe that servicing should be made simple, and Dara is delivering that modern experience that modern homeowners have been searching for.
