MBA Urges Lawmakers to Vote in Favor of Terrorism Risk Insurance Act Renewal

The Mortgage Bankers Association submitted a letter to House leadership on Monday ahead a planned vote on the current amended version of H.R. 7128, the TRIA Program Reauthorization Act of 2026.

The letter urged lawmakers to vote in favor of this bill, commending them for acting on this important issue well before the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act’s program’s December 31, 2027, expiration date.
