A Few Officials Signaled Support for Higher Rates at Warsh’s First Meeting

A few officials at the Federal Reserve said they could have supported raising interest rates at their meeting in June to address resurgent inflation, according to minutes from the gathering released on Wednesday. Minutes from Kevin M. Warsh’s first meeting as chairman showed heightened unease about inflation, which is running at a three-year high.
