Jeremy Green Joins MBA as Vice President of Legislative Affairs

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced that Jeremy Green has joined the association as Vice President of Legislative Affairs. In this role, he will be responsible for advocating on behalf of MBA’s policy priorities on Capitol Hill, with a primary focus on Democratic members and their offices within the United States Senate.

“Jeremy brings to MBA a proven track record of building strong relationships with policymakers and a thoughtful, strategic approach to advancing legislative priorities on behalf of the real estate industry,” said Bill Killmer, MBA’s Chief Lobbyist and Senior Vice President of Legislative and Political Affairs. “His focused expertise and passion for political advocacy, coupled with his family history of industry involvement, make him a great fit to join our lobbying team. I am confident he will be successful helping to produce positive legislative outcomes on behalf of both our single-family and commercial/multifamily members.”  

Green holds more than a decade of government affairs experience, helping organizations advance their policy priorities through effective engagement with Congress and federal government agencies. Prior to MBA, Green served as Vice President of Federal Government Affairs at McGuireWoods Consulting. Before that, he held various ascending roles at the National Association of REALTORS, where he most recently served as Federal Legislative Representative, and at the Glover Park Group. In his role at NAR, Green worked closely with Congress, federal agencies, and industry stakeholders to advance legislative priorities, coordinate national advocacy strategies, and help shape major federal housing policy outcomes.

Green holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a concentration in American government and politics, from Syracuse University.
