Rocktop Technologies Chooses Jason Vinar as Chief Investment Officer

Rocktop Technologies, Irving, Texas, has appointed Jason Vinar as chief investment officer.

Vinar will lead Rocktop Capital Advisors, the firm’s capital markets business, covering MSR valuation, hedge advisory and trading.

He was previously with Two Harbors Investment Corp., a publicly traded REIT, where he most recently was chief operating officer.

Argyle Names John Hardesty CRO, Daniel Esquibel VP of Mortgage

Argyle, New York, announced John Hardesty has been named chief revenue officer.

Hardesty will lead Argyle’s go-to-market strategy and team including sales, marketing partnerships and customer success. He previously served as senior vice president of revenue.

And, Daniel Esquibel has been promoted to vice president of mortgage, including sales, strategy and partnerships. He was previously director of strategic sales and partnerships.

Jason Gritters Joins First American Home Warranty as CRO

First American Home Warranty, Santa Rosa, Calif., announced Jason Gritters has joined as chief revenue officer.

In this newly created role, he will lead the firm’s real estate line of business and corporate development function, while helping to identify and advance new revenue opportunities to complement the company’s core home warranty business.

Gritters brings more than 10 years of leadership experience across the home warranty and home services industries. He was most recently with 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty.  

Planet Adds Greg Thomas in Indiana, Ted Newton in Oklahoma

Planet, Meriden, Conn., appointed Greg Thomas as an area sales manager in Fort Wayne, Ind., as part of an effort to expand further into the Midwest.

Thomas has more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience, including in government lending, renovation financing, new construction and self-employed borrowers.

Thomas and his team will operate as GO Home Mortgage in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

Additionally, Planet has added Ted Newton as an area sales manager in Oklahoma.

Newton is licensed in Oklahoma, Texas and Alabama, and his team includes Mortgage Loan Officer Greg Nurse and Mortgage Loan Officer Patricia Howard, along with loan assistant Lacey Brown. He brings nearly 31 years of experience to Planet Home, and was most recently with Union Home Mortgage.
