Checkr Announces Truv Acquisition

Checkr, San Francisco, announced the acquisition of Truv, Miami.

In the past year, Checkr has expanded its offerings with new mortgage, tenant and personal verification solutions, and the acquisition of Truv will further that momentum, also expanding it into government.

Truv, which allows customers to connect directly to payroll providers and financial institutions on a consumer-permissioned basis, will help loan officers verify borrowers faster and with greater confidence.

eRESI, Pasadena, Calif., and Prudent AI, Dover, Del., have partnered to give non-delegated correspondent sellers access to faster and more efficient ways to analyze complex borrower income earlier in the loan process.

Sellers can use Prudent AI’s Upfront Income platform to evaluate qualifying income across complex borrower scenarios. The platform can automatically identify it, organize it and deliver calculations backed by source data.

Maxwell, Littleton, Colo., announced a strategic partnership with Ardley, Reston, Va., connecting Ardley’s real-time customer and portfolio analytics and precision targeting capabilities with Maxwell’s point-of-sale platform.

It will allow lenders and servicers to more quickly identify eligible borrowers for a variety of products and work with them through a closed loan.

By deploying Ardley across the customer base, a Maxwell POS customer will be able to automatically identify eligible borrowers and nurture leads into active loan opportunities.

The integrated solution is currently being introduced through an initial pilot program with select lenders.

Dark Matter Announces Latest POS Release

Dark Matter Technologies, Jacksonville, Fla., rolled out its latest point-of-sale release, bringing document validation powered by Aiva Intelligence to the earliest stage of the lending process.

Borrower documents will be validated at upload instead of later in the review process, and borrowers immediately learn whether a document meets the requested condition and receive a plain-language explanation of the outcome and guidance for resolving issues.

For lenders, they receive the same validation results, along with an audit trail. Every lender can determine how the workflow operates.

The release also includes several enhancements designed to simplify the POS experience for borrowers and loan officers, including a redesigned application workspace and more precise loan-copy capabilities.

Optimal Blue, Plano, Texas, announced the general availability of Virtual Economist.

Originally revealed in beta in February, Virtual Economist is now available to all Optimal Blue Product, Pricing, and Eligibility Engine and CompassEdge clients.

Virtual Economist combines public economic data with Optimal Blue’s proprietary lock volume data into machine learning models to deliver rate and market volume forecasts. It allows users to explore and visualize various scenarios related to interest rates.
