Click n’ Close Announces Appointment of Ian Kimball as President
Click n’ Close, Addison, Texas, has announced the appointment of Ian Kimball as president.
Kimball has more than 25 years of experience, including in strategy, sales, operations, technology, compliance and finance.
He was most recently executive director of strategy at Service First Mortgage, and previously held senior leadership roles at Caliber Home Loans, Bank of America Home Loans and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
David Townsend Elected as ALTA President

The American Land Title Association, Washington, D.C., announced that David Townsend has been inducted as ALTA president for the 2025-2026 association year.
Townsend has more than 20 years of experience in the title insurance industry.
He founded Agents National Title Insurance Co. in 2005, and served as president and CEO until its acquisition by Essent Group in 2023. Since then, Townsend has been the senior vice president agency division manager for the FNF Family of Cos.
Townsend has also been on the ALTA board of governors since 2018, and is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association Residential Board of Governors, along with other industry group positions.
MBA’s Liz Facemire Honored With Robert G. Boucher Award

The Mortgage Bankers Association’s Liz Facemire, associate vice president of state government affairs, has been recognized with the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association’s Robert G. Boucher Award.
The award is presented periodically to an individual who has made a substantial contribution to the furthering of joint efforts between the public and private sectors in support of the free enterprise system and preservation and improvement of the industry.
Facemire was recognized for her critical guidance and support on legislative matters, and her work related to the recent artificial intelligence bill in the state.
“Liz’s professionalism, responsiveness and deep knowledge have made her an indispensable ally. She works tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that our voice is heard and that we are well-prepared to engage with legislators on important matters,” CMLA said in its award presentation.

Christy Moss has joined as executive strategic advisor. She has previously worked with FormFree and Fannie Mae.
Paul Gigliotti will transition from chief growth officer to executive strategic advisor, focusing on client success and GSE market navigation.

Kishore Dasaka has joined as fractional chief financial officer. Shuba Bhaskaran will assume the role of fractional head of sales and GTM.
Planet Home Lending Adds Personnel in Dallas Metroplex
Planet Home Lending, Meriden, Conn, has added Randal McClanahan and David Wells as retail sales leaders in the Dallas Metroplex, expanding its presence in the area.
Combined, McClanahan and Wells bring decades of experience in the industry.
Wells pointed to Planet’s wide range of products, ability to retain the majority of servicing and strong local connections as motivating.

Rate, Chicago, has added Lynn Nemes as sales manager in Florida.
Nemes has already played a key role in establishing the company’s Naples, Fla., branch, expanding the firm’s reach across Florida.
She has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
