
MBA Elects 2026 Board of Directors; Announces Governors and Committee Chairs for 2026
The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) swore in its Board of Directors for the 2025 membership year at its 2025 Annual Convention and Expo. The Board of Directors will be chaired by Christine Chandler, Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer and Chief Operating Officer with M&T Realty Capital Corporation (RCC).
MBA’s Board of Directors consists of 39 voting members and one ex-officio member, MBA President and CEO Bob Broeksmit, CMB. MBA directors represent its commercial/multifamily, residential, and associate membership. The Board of Directors sets the strategic direction for MBA and oversees management of the association’s affairs.
“This year’s Board of Directors brings together some of the brightest and most passionate leaders in real estate finance,” said Chandler. “Their insight and experience will help shape the market, legislative, and regulatory priorities ahead — from the futures of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to policies that lower financing costs and expand affordable housing opportunities.”
