CCMS Cares Raises Nearly $15,000 For MBA Opens Doors Foundation

The Commercial Certified Mortgage Servicer Society Philanthropic Committee, which launched the as part of its CCMS Cares: Supporting Neighbors in Need campaign efforts, recently held a fundraiser for the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Opens Doors Foundation, raising $14,607.

Hosted by Crystal and Jeffrey Kalinowski in Michigan on Sept. 6, the backyard fundraiser received donations from more than 50 individuals and featured music from Christina Chriss and Joey Fava from the band Kaleido. 

Crystal Kalinowski, with District Capital, is a member of the CCMS Philanthropic Committee, which is running the CCMS Cares: Supporting Neighbors in Need campaign. “As leaders in our industry, the CCMS Community has an obligation to give back to families in our communities,” reads the group’s site. “Utilizing the broad network of CCMS designees, and the impact the collective whole can make, the purpose of the Philanthropic Committee is to promote philanthropic efforts by CCMS designees, with an emphasis on developing ways to contribute to the MBA Opens Doors Foundation.”
