Westcor Land Title Insurance Promotes Steven Black to President, COO
Westcor Land Title Insurance Co., Maitland, Fla., has promoted Steven Black to president and chief operating officer.
Black will oversee the company’s nationwide operations with a focus on driving strategic growth, operational excellence and continued innovation in service to Westcor’s independent agent network.
Black has been with the firm since 2015, when he joined as vice president, Texas regional manager. He later also oversaw the western area.
He has more than 35 years of experience in the title industry.
NewDay USA Expands Leadership Team for NewDay Home

NewDay USA, West Palm Beach, Fla., has named Ken Harthausen as president of the NewDay Home Builder division. Neil Brooks is now president of NewDay Home.
Harthausen has more than two decades of experience, and most recently served as vice president of national strategic alliances at LoanDepot. He also worked for Countrywide Home Loans, where he built the firm’s builder joint venture program from scratch.
Brooks, a U.S. Navy veteran, has more than 20 years of experience in real estate leadership. He was most recently a realtor at My Home Group in Scottsdale, Ariz. He will lead the launch of NewDay Home and its national network of real estate agents.
John Davis Returns to Certainty Home Lending

John Davis has returned to Certainty Home Lending, a Rate company, Chicago, as vice president of mortgage lending.
He began with Certainty as a senior loan officer in 2009, spending 16 years with the company.
Davis will continue to serve clients while taking on additional leadership responsibilities to support Certainty’s growing team of mortgage professionals.

Click n’ Close Appoints Jon Wilson VP of Accounting
Click n’ Close, Addison, Texas, has appointed Jon Wilson as vice president of accounting.
Wilson has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance leadership in the mortgage and financial services sectors.
He was previously vice president of finance for Bay Equity, a subsidiary of Redfin. He has also held senior accounting roles at Algentis and First Collateral Services.
NCCI Promotes Presley Santos to Client Relations Specialist

NCCI, Irvine, Calif., has promoted Presley Santos to client relations specialist.
She will focus on cultivating strong, trust-based partnerships with clients across the NCCI portfolio.
Santos joined as an operations specialist in 2024.
Andrew Duane Elected Fellow of Texas Bar Foundation

Andrew Duane, of Polunsky Beitel Green, San Antonio, Texas, was elected a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Fellows are selected based on their outstanding professional achievements and demonstrated commitment. Only one-third of 1% of Texas attorneys are selected each year.
Duane represents clients in all facets of residential mortgage lending, and serves on the board of directors for the Houston Mortgage Bankers Association and is co-chair of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association’s Young Mortgage Bankers Committee.
