The MBA Opens Doors Foundation (Opens Doors) welcomed Nolan Turner, CMB, Managing Director at Carrington Holdings, to its Board of Directors. Opens Doors provides mortgage and rental assistance to families with critically ill or injured children, allowing parents and guardians to be by a child’s side during treatment, without fear of jeopardizing their home.

“I am delighted that Nolan is joining our Board of Directors,” said Debra W. Still, Vice Chairman of Pulte Financial and MBA Opens Doors Chair. “He brings a wealth of industry experience, enthusiasm for our mission, and a history of significant support for the work we do. Having Nolan on our Board deepens our ability to reach new audiences.”

With 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Turner currently serves as the Managing Director for Carrington Holding Company, leading strategic initiatives, growth and revenue objectives, and industry partnerships across Carrington’s eight vertically integrated companies and 4,000 employees. Prior to Carrington, Turner held leadership roles within the Investment Bank at Wachovia and in wholesale loan operations at World Savings.

Turner has been a strong advocate for Opens Doors over the years. He has lent his expertise as co-host of the Foundation’s Charity Wine Auction for the past two years during MBA’s Chairman’s Conference. Outside of Opens Doors, Turner is an active MBA member, an MBA Future Leader, and holds his Certified Mortgage Banker designation (CMB).

The Opens Doors Foundation works with 13 children’s hospitals in eight states and the District of Columbia and has provided more than 18,000 families from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Guam, with housing assistance since 2011.
