Dealmaker: BWE Secures $76M Refinancing for Florida Senior Living Community

BWE, Cleveland, arranged $76 million to refinance The Carlisle Naples, a Class-A senior living community in Naples, Fla.

Ryan Stoll, National Director of Seniors Housing and Care at BWE, and Taylor Mokris, Senior Vice President of Seniors Housing and Care, facilitated the financing for Harbert Management Co. and Senior Resource Group.

The Carlisle Naples has 257 independent-living units and 93 assisted-living units.

The sponsor recently completed an extensive capital improvement plan during the pandemic, increasing both occupancy and rates post-renovation. The property spans 18-plus acres in a prime location with robust seniors housing demand fundamentals, including annual 75+ household growth of 3%, over 90% Independent Living occupancy and rate growth exceeding 10%.
