Panorama Mortgage Group Announces Down Payment Assistance Program

Panorama Mortgage Group, Las Vegas, announced the launch of Advantage DPA, a down payment assistance program designed to help underserved borrowers achieve generational wealth via homeownership.

The program is facilitated by Arrive Home, Sandy, Utah, and is now available to Panorama partners through its Travisa wholesale channel. It offers 3.5% or 5% in down payment assistance, featuring both forgivable and repayable options.

The program also accepts borrowers with credit scores as low as 600. Manual underwriting is allowed and standard FHA debt-to-income ratios apply.

DocMagic Enhances Total eClose Platform

DocMagic, Torrance, Calif., announced the availability of its in-person electronic notarization capability, extending the Total eClose platform to support more closing preferences across the country.

IPEN allows lenders, settlement agents, notaries and borrowers additional digital options for situations where remote online notarization is not allowed or preferred.

IPEN is allowed in 46 states and Washington, D.C. The new feature also provides flexibility in places where both RON and IPEN are permissible, facilitating switching between the two methods.

DocMagic’s IPEN technology works on any connected device, and is built on the same foundation as its RON capability. All RON-capable notaries in the system can also perform IPEN.

FirstClose Selected by Lake Michigan Credit Union

FirstClose, Austin, Texas, has been selected by Lake Michigan Credit Union, Grand Rapids, Mich., to automate settlement workflows for its home equity lending operations.

With the implementation, LMCU will be able to generate and track settlement orders directly within its loan origination system, apply business rules for vendor selection and ensure that completed reports and documents flow seamlessly back into the loan record.

It will help reduce manual touchpoints and eliminate redundant data entry.
