Tavant, Snapdocs Partner
Tavant, Santa Clara, Calif., announced a partnership with Snapdocs, San Francisco. Via the partnership, the Snapdocs eClosing platform now integrates with Tavant’s FinConnect, giving lenders connectivity across their entire tech stack, including POS, LOS, document providers and other third-party or proprietary systems.
FinConnect provides plug-and-play access to more than 100 connectors from more than 80 service providers, including identity, credit, income and asset verification tools.
Tavant’s bi-directional integration with Snapdocs will streamline the exchange of data and documents between systems, enhancing operational efficiency, reducing errors and supporting digital closings at scale.

American Land Title Association Announces New Policy Endorsements
The American Land Title Association, Washington, D.C., announced new policy endorsements aiming to help protect homeowners from the threat of seller impersonation fraud. The endorsements will allow new and existing homeowners to add coverage that offers post-policy protection against forgery of a deed or mortgage.
With this coverage, title insurers can cover potential legal costs to correct the public record if forged deeds or mortgages are recorded against a homeowner’s property.
ALTA has also updated its Best Practices framework to help title agents better identify emerging versions of such crimes.

WFG National Title Insurance Co. Introduces Agent 3.0
WFG National Title Insurance Co., a Williston Financial Group company, Portland, Ore., announced the launch of its Agent 3.0 program, building on the momentum of WFG’s Agent 2.0 program.
The 2.0 rendition was introduced in Q1 2024, but the 3.0 version reflects rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, automation and digital collaboration.
One of the first Agent 3.0 solutions to launch is E-remit, a payment and reconciliation platform co-developed with WFG’s Agent 3.0 advisory group.
Agent 3.0 will provide access to WFG’s seven core support pillars, the company said. Those include AI applications, technology and innovation; assistance with marketing and sales; title operations and processes; business operational support; fraud prevention; product and service resources; and WFG purchasing group.

Cloudvirga Adds Admin Portal for Tropos Borrower Platform
Cloudvirga, Irvine, Calif., has added an admin portal for its Tropos borrower platform, giving lenders greater control over how it works for their borrowers.
Lenders can adjust organizational settings, manage their brand experience across the business structure, customize loan applications and adapt operational workflows, without developer assistance.
It will also help them brand their customers’ experience, configure organizational hierarchies, keep legal content current, manage borrower communications, control vendor integrations, activate or deactivate tasks, manage users and track loan activity.

NotaryCam to Provide RON Services in Vermont
NotaryCam, Houston, has received certification to perform RON services in Vermont.
This follows Vermont’s recent enactment of legislation supporting remote notarization, allowing with notaries with a special endorsement to complete digital notarizations.
Vermont-based notaries can use NotaryCam’s secure platform to complete notarizations digitally.
To date, 47 states and Washington, D.C., have enacted legislation allowing RON.
