Sam Valverde Chosen as Acting President of Ginnie Mae
Ginnie Mae, Washington, D.C., announced Sam Valverde is now serving as Acting President.
Valverde has been Principal Executive Vice President since January 2023 and has been with Ginnie Mae since March 2022; he began in the roles of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
He brings more than 15 years of housing finance, policy and legal experience to the role, and previously worked at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, among other roles.
