MISMO Seeks Public Comment on Property and Valuation Services v3.6.0 Implementation Guide
MISMO, the real estate finance industry’s standards organization, seeks public comment on the Property and Valuation Services (PaVS) v3.6.0 Reference Model Implementation Guide (I-Guide). Updates to the I-Guide include highlights of data changes from MISMO Reference Model 3.6 in the PaVS domain and updated use cases and samples. The 60-day public comment period for this implementation guide runs through July 27, 2024.
“The I-Guide represents a key reference for implementers in the property valuation and information sector as MISMO Version 3.6 XML Reference Model underlies the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s Uniform Mortgage Data Program (UMDP) revised Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD),” said Elizabeth Green of Candescent Capital Ventures and chair of MISMO’s PaVS Community of Practice.
The public comment period allows those who participated in the proposal at least 60-days’ notice prior to final release to review and disclose any applicable Patent Rights (as defined by MISMO’s 2018 Intellectual Property Rights Policy).
MISMO requests that any organization that may have any patent or patent applications, or other intellectual property rights that might be infringed upon by an organization that uses or is compliant with these proposed MISMO products to disclose them at this time in writing. All comments and disclosures are due by July 27, 2024, and should be directed to info@mismo.org.
