MBA Opens Doors Foundation Welcomes M&T Realty Capital Corp’s Christine Chandler and Mphasis Digital Risk’s Jeffrey C. Taylor to Board of Directors

The MBA Opens Doors Foundation yesterday welcomed Christine Chandler, MBA’s 2024 Vice Chair and Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer, and Chief Operating Officer at M&T Realty Capital Corporation, and Jeffrey C. Taylor, Founder & Managing Director at Mphasis Digital Risk, to its Board of Directors. Opens Doors provides mortgage and rental assistance to families with critically ill or injured children, allowing parents and guardians to be by a child’s side during treatment, without fear of jeopardizing their home.

Chandler has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. Since 2018, she has been responsible for making credit decisions for M&T RCC multifamily and healthcare transactions underwritten in the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (Agency) and Federal Housing Administration (FHA) platforms. In her role, she also oversees the company’s operations and its Asset Management Group and Transformation team.
Chandler previously served as Chair of MBA’s Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG) and was appointed to MBA’s DEI Committee in 2022 and its Audit Committee in 2021. She is a sought-after speaker at industry conferences and is a passionate advocate for mPower, the largest networking organization for women in real estate finance.
Taylor is an influential mortgage industry innovator and advocate who pushes housing progress forward in Washington, Silicon Valley, and on Wall Street. Since 2005, he has been the Founder and Managing Director of Mphasis Digital Risk, the nation’s largest provider of mortgage risk, compliance, and fintech solutions; specializing in loan quality due diligence and outsourced underwriting for America’s top mortgage originators, servicers, and investors.
Taylor is a long-serving MBA board member and has led, and remains active in, key MBA initiatives including MORPAC (MBA’s Political Action Committee), and the Mortgage Action Alliance (MAA).
More than 16,000 families from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Guam have received housing assistance from Opens Doors since 2011. In 2021, Opens Doors launched its Pandemic Relief Program, doubling its support to families in need. Grants up to $2,000 are made monthly to qualified families.
