MISMO Publishes Revision to the IRS Form 4506-C Dataset

MISMO, the real estate finance industry’s standards organization, published an update to the previously-published IRS Form 4506-C dataset. 

The revised dataset aligns with Form 4506-C, the IRS form used for requesting tax transcripts. This updated dataset includes a standardized set of data points that is compatible with the MISMO v3.5 reference model. To facilitate the implementation, the dataset is accompanied by a sample XML file and a numbered form, that outlines the structure requirements. This comprehensive information package provides lenders and vendors with a standardized MISMO method for completing IRS Form 4506-C.
