MISMO Introduces New Certification Opportunities at 2024 Winter Summit
MISMO, the real estate finance industry’s standards organization, introduced new certification opportunities at its 2024 Winter Summit. The new certification offerings include MISMO’s Certified Consultant program, MISMO’s e-Vault System Certification, and MISMO’s SMART Doc Validation Rules Certifications. These three new certifications bring MISMO’s total industry certification opportunities to eight.
“The new MISMO Certifications are designed for professionals and technology providers who demonstrate their commitment to effective business practices through their expertise in, and adherence to, MISMO standards,” said David Coleman, President of MISMO. “As adoption of MISMO standards continues to accelerate, we have more industry partners interested in pursuing the variety of certifications we are offering.”
MISMO’s new certifications include:
MISMO’s Certified Consultants Program allows experts to have their industry domain knowledge and proficiency with MISMO standards verified. There is a strong and growing business need for such expertise to help organizations begin or continue the adoption of MISMO standards.
Early applicants to the program include Actualize Consulting, Falcon Capital Advisors, Phoenix Outcomes, and Tidgewell Results Experience.
MISMO’s e-Vault System Certification confirms that an eVault’s functionality, procedures, and policies comply with the MISMO eVault Standards.
MISMO’s SMART Doc Validation Rules Certification ensures each certified platform has implemented a standard set of rules to validate SMART Docs, which reduces interoperability challenges and streamlines implementations. MISMO SMART Docs are created in both Versions 1.02 and Version 3 of the MISMO standards. MISMO has created sperate certification for each.
