Dark Matter Technologies Adds Tony Fox
Dark Matter Technologies, Jacksonville, Fla., announced Tony Fox as Chief of Client Engagement.
Fox is responsible for directing the company’s account management and client success teams.
He was previously with ICE Mortgage Technology, and pre-acquisition, with Black Knight. He also has been with 1st Priority Mortgage, M&T Bank and other roles throughout his career.
Fairway Independent Mortgage Promotes Joy Knoch
Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp., Madison, Wis., announced Joy Knoch has been promoted to Chief Strategy Officer.
She’s a 28-year veteran of the mortgage industry and has been with Fairway since 2011.
In her new role, Knoch will oversee origination and processing, training and support, and lending technology systems.
George Morales Joins Mortgage Cadence Sales Team
George Morales has joined the sales team for Mortgage Cadence, Denver.
Morales has more than two decades of mortgage and real estate industry experience.
He had served as Mortgage Cadence’s Reverse Mortgage Product manager, and previously was with The Sless Group of Primary Residential Mortgage Inc., and has worked for American Advisors Group, among others.
Alex Rampell Joins Rocket Cos. Board of Directors
Rocket Cos., announced the addition of Alex Rampell as an independent director to the company’s board of directors.
Rampell currently is General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, focusing on fintech investment.
He’s also an entrepreneur, cofounding financial companies such as buy-now-pay-later service Affirm and TrialPay, a transactional advertising and payments company.

He has more than 25 years of lending experience, previously with Paramount Residential Mortgage Group Inc.
He has also held leadership positions at Caliber Home Loans, Home Savings of America, Reunion Mortgage, Aegis Mortgage, American Brokers Conduit and American Mortgage Network.
