PHILADELPHIA–The Mortgage Bankers Association Political Action Committee (MORPAC) awarded Kim Lanham, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Mphasis Digital Risk, with the 2023 Schumacher-Bolduc Award.

The award was presented to Lanham here at MBA’s 2023 Annual Convention & Expo.

“Kim has been an admirable advocate of MORPAC’s outreach efforts and goals. Her engagement was instrumental during the committee’s 2021–2022 fundraising cycle, resulting in the largest fundraising results in MBA’s history,” said Mark Jones, 2024 MBA Chairman and President of Union Home Mortgage. “The time, effort, and infectious energy Kim has brought to MORPAC’s cause should be celebrated, and I am honored to present her with this well-deserved tribute for all of her efforts.”

Lanham has been a distinguished MORPAC member for many years. During the 2021-2022 election cycle, she was instrumental in helping former MORPAC Chair Jeff Taylor reach a renowned fundraising record total of nearly $3,050,000 in individual donations. In 2021, she took a leading role in developing and executing MORPAC’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, securing a top 10 national trade association PAC ranking – in terms of both receipts and contributions distributed. Within her roles, Lanham has led Mphasis Digital Risk’s Mortgage Action Alliance (MAA) campaigns, striving to maintain 100% company participation. Outside of MAA and MORPAC, she is a committed advocate for the mPower community and sits on the Residential Technology Forum (RESTECH).

The Schumacher-Bolduc Award is named after MORPAC founder Ernest P. Schumacher and Mark P. Bolduc, one of MORPAC’s first Directors. It’s awarded to individuals who exemplify MORPAC’s mission and display commitment to expanding the reach of MBA’s political advocacy efforts.
