Dealmaker: Berkadia Brokers $71M Georgia Apartment Sale

Berkadia, New York, brokered the sale of Grace Apartment Homes Roswell, a 396-unit garden-style multifamily property in Roswell, Ga., for $70.5 million.

Andrew Mays and Paul Vetter, both Senior Managing Directors with Berkadia, closed the deal with Managing Directors Matt White and Judy MacManus and Associate Director Ian Shaw of Berkadia Atlanta. The team represented the seller, Georgia-based MSC Investment. Washington-based RH Investment Management acquired the property. The deal closed on September 27.

“Through deep relationships with the buyer, lender and seller, we were able to reach an acceptable deal for all parties,” Mays said. “This avoided further distress on the asset.”

Located at 100 Chattahoochee Circle near Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and Cherokee Town & Country Club, Grace Apartment Homes Roswell includes one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans with in-unit washers and dryers and dishwashers. Community amenities include a swimming pool, a fitness center and a business center.
