Fannie Mae Announces Leadership Changes

Fannie Mae announced that President David Benson and Chief Administrative Officer Jeffrey Hayward will be retiring in early to mid-2024 and year-end 2023, respectively.

CEO Priscilla Almodovar will assume the title of President, and General Counsel Terry Theologides will become Chief Administrative Officer.

Benson spent 21 years in a wide variety of positions, including interim CEO and Chief Financial Officer. Hayward has spent 36 years with Fannie Mae, also with a number of responsibilities.

Lance Drummond Elected Freddie Mac Chair

Lance Drummond

Lance Drummond, a member of the Freddie Mac board since 2015, will become the chairman of its board of directors. He will succeed Sara Mathew, who will retire as chair and a director in February.

Drummond is currently leading the Board’s Compensation and Human Capital Committee, and is on the Executive, Audit and Operations and Technology committees.

With a long career in the industry, Drummond retired as Executive Vice President of Operations and Technology of TD Canada Trust in 2014. He has also held roles at companies such as Fizerv, Bank of America and Eastman Kodak Co.

Crystal Stanton

Mortgage Machine Services Adds Crystal Stanton

Mortgage Machine Services, Addison, Texas, announced the addition of Crystal Stanton to manage customer success and onboarding.

Stanton has more than two decades of customer success experience, including more than a decade in the mortgage industry.

She will be tasked with onboarding new customers to ensure a smooth experience and outcome.

Brian McKray Promoted at MMI

Brian McKray

Mobility Market Intelligence, Salt Lake City, promoted Brian McKray to Vice President of Product.

McKray has been with MMI as Director of Product since March. He worked to spearhead the development and implementation of the user insights tool and custom dashboard hub.

He also worked on the integration between the MMI Data Center and Bonzo post-acquisition, and helped bring the Property Intelligence and IN.box products to market.
