Mortgage Advisory Partners Names Maria Elena Jaimes as Managing Director, Training & Development

Maria Elena Jaimes

Mortgage Advisory Partners, Newport Beach, Calif., hired Maria Elena Jaimes as Managing Director of Training and Development. She will provide clients with tools meant to establish, execute and enhance training and development initiatives. She will also oversee additional consulting offerings such as leadership training, assessment and evaluation, sales and operations training and performance consulting.

Jaimes comes to Mortgage Advisory Partners with more than 30 years of experience in the real estate and mortgage finance industries. Her background includes experience in the areas of process optimization, instructional design, and sales training. She has previously held executive-level roles with Homepoint Financial and Stearns Lending. She also founded JAI Consulting, a training and development consultancy company she still operates today.

Harold Lewis

BSI Financial Services Names Harold Lewis President and COO, Brett Behrens to Lead Agency Servicing

BSI Financial Services, Irving, Texas, named Harold Lewis as president and COO. In this newly created position, he will be responsible for scaling BSI Financial’s platform and delivering value to its customers through the combination of improved operational efficiency, reduced risks, technology advancements and talent.

Prior to joining BSI Financial, Lewis served as president and COO of Nationstar Mortgage (dba Mr. Cooper), where he led growth of the company’s servicing portfolio from $30 billion to $400 billion and its mortgage origination portfolio from $1.8 billion to $25 billion. Prior to Nationstar, he held several C-Suite and senior executive positions, including COO at CitiMortgage, COO of residential real estate at Fannie Mae, president of NationsCredit for Bank of America/Barnett Bank, and COO of Resource Bancshares Mortgage Group. Most recently, he served as a senior advisor at McKinsey & Company. In addition, he currently serves on the board of directors at Upbound (dba Rent-a-Center and Acima) and on its audit and compensation committees.

Brett Behrens

BSI Financial also appointed Brett Behrens to head agency servicing. He will report directly to Lewis.

Behrens has more than 33 years of financial services experience, including more than 20 years in servicing management. Most recently, he was a business development executive with Aspen Capital, a private equity firm specializing in acquisition and servicing of residential and commercial real estate loans. He also held management positions with Calmco Servicing, Wilshire Credit Corporation/Seterus, Wealthbridge Mortgage Corp. and FCI Lender Services.

Shea Pallante

Arc Home Appoints Shea Pallante as Chief Production Officer

Arc Home LLC, Mount Laurel, N.J., named Shea Pallante as Chief Production Officer, responsible for leading national production for Arc’s TPO origination channels. Additionally, he will contribute to the company’s business and marketing strategies.

Pallante previously served as President of Sprout Mortgage and held executive positions with Civic Financial Services, BSI Financial Services and Arch Bay Capital.

Shayna Wilmet

MMI Taps Shayna Wilmet as Regional Director of Growth

Mobility Market Intelligence, Salt Lake City, Utah, named Shayna Wilmet as its newest regional director of growth. Her responsibilities will include consulting and strategizing with MMI’s roster of mortgage enterprise clients to identify growth opportunities to drive adoption and increase return on investment.

 Wilmet has nearly 10 years of experience managing clientsband is well-versed in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining MMI, she was an enterprise customer success manager for a year and was then promoted to manager of customer success with SimpleNexus. She also spent two years as a strategic inside account manager with Ellie Mae.

George Morales

George Morales Joins Mortgage Cadence as Reverse Mortgage Product Manager

Mortgage Cadence, Denver, named George Morales as Reverse Mortgage Product Manager, focusing on product strategy and subject matter expertise for the Mortgage Cadence Platform as it pertains to Reverse Mortgage loan origination and the Reverse Mortgage market. He will manage reverse mortgage enhancements in MCP and supporting products, provide business case support and rationale for the enhancements, and serve as an in-house reverse mortgage expert for MCP and its clients.

Morales has 24 years of mortgage & real estate industry experience; 11 of those in the reverse mortgage sector. Prior to joining Mortgage Cadence, he served as Vice President of Reverse Mortgage lending with The Sless Group of Primary Residential Mortgage Inc., where he was key in developing strategy, directing branch/loan originator relations, overseeing reverse mortgage products, pricing, compliance, and relationships with vendors and other industry partners.

Scott Cooper

Birchwood Credit Services Promotes Scott Cooper to Chief Revenue Officer, Jen Lord to Senior Vice President

Birchwood Credit Services, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., promoted Scott Cooper to Chief Revenue Officer and Jen Lord to Senior Vice President over Process, Workflow and Product.

Cooper has been with Birchwood for 11 years and has held various positions in the company, ranging from sales, client support, and, most recently, business development. In his new role, he will be responsible for executing Birchwood’s corporate strategic plans by developing and expanding into customer segments and partnerships, managing all company revenue and budgetary requirements, and assessing client needs in the market and incorporating those into new product development initiatives.

Jen Lord

Lord joined Birchwood in 2001. Over the past 22 years, she has held various positions at Birchwood, most recently as the Vice President of Systems and Compliance. She will be responsible for managing and developing Birchwood’s product roadmap, as well as building trusted relationships with customers and partners. She will lead delivery and ongoing management of Birchwood’s enterprise applications and related integrations. She will also directly oversee and manage operations, customer service and compliance teams.   

Mark Leslie

CBC Mortgage Agency Hires Mark Leslie as Capital Markets Director

CBC Mortgage Agency, Cedar City, Utah, hired Mark Leslie as director of capital markets.

Leslie has spent more than two decades as a mortgage trader. He began his career as a junior mortgage trader in 2001. He served as trading vice president at several prominent mortgage banking firms, including Stearns Lending, where he helped the company transfer trading operations from California to Texas, and Caliber Home Loans, where he was the main architect of the company’s rate sheet pricing models.
