Hall Structured Finance, Dallas, originated a $16.6 million first lien construction loan for the development of a Hyatt Place hotel in Jackson, Tenn.
It will be adjacent to the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House charity will lease the entire second floor. The space will be used by families of children receiving care at a few of the hospital’s departments. Construction is slated to begin this summer and finish in 2024.
Jackson-based Hunt Properties is the developer; Tim Valaski, Vice President with Arriba Capital, served as broker.
“While hotel construction financing continues to be a tough bucket of capital, the right projects are still getting financed,” Valaski said.
