Enterprise Community Partners Announces Shaun Donovan as CEO, President

Enterprise Community Partners, Columbia, Md., named Shaun Donovan its new CEO and President, effective Sept. 1.

Interim co-CEOs Lori Chatman and Drew Warshaw will continue to serve in their roles as President of Enterprise’s Capital division and Chief Operating Officer, respectively.

Donovan has had a nearly 30-year career in the industry. He served in President Barack Obama’s cabinet for his entire term–as secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2009 to 2014 and as director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget from 2014 to 2017. He also was commissioner of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development from 2004 to 2009 under Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

“Enterprise has in Shaun a leader who understands how to use the runway this organization has built as a catalyst for solving some of the toughest challenges this country has ever faced,” said Enterprise Board Vice Chair Phyllis Caldwell. “Drawing from his experience, Shaun understands the complex way promoting an affordable home intersects with transportation, workforce training, health and the environment. He’s able to view the full picture of how these factors come together–and will bring that to bear at Enterprise.”

Fannie Mae Names Chetlur Ragavan to Board of Directors

Fannie Mae added Chetlur Ragavan to its board of directors and said he will serve on the Risk Policy and Capital Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Ragavan has had a long career in enterprise risk management and financial services and has served on a number of boards and committees within the industry.

He is the Founder and Principal of Risk Response, which provides risk advisory and consulting services to global financial institutions.

FirstClose Chooses Dan Kellett as CTO

FirstClose, Austin, Texas, announced Dan Kellett as the new Chief Technology Officer.

Kellett will be responsible for overseeing the company’s information technology and strategy spanning applications, data, cybersecurity and infrastructure.

He brings more than a decade of engineering and information security expertise to the company. Most recently, Kellett served as Head of Technology and Architecture at Blink UX.
