CBC Mortgage Agency Adds Alicia Wood as Director of Servicing and Asset Management

Alicia Wood

CBC Mortgage Agency, Cedar City, Utah, hired Alicia Wood for the newly created position of director of servicing and asset management. She administers CBCMA’s entire loan servicing operation and is responsible for servicing oversight and loss mitigation activity on all first and second mortgages, as well as agency and investor reporting.

Wood has more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience and has held executive roles at several large servicing organizations. Most recently, she served as vice president of servicing at non-QM lender Angel Oak. Wood also spent more than five years overseeing foreclosed and bankrupt accounts at a non-agency lender that was acquired by Morgan Stanley and is now part of PHH Mortgage. She began her career at a mobile home lender, where she rose to become collection and credit manager.

NewPoint Hires Charlie Crowe for Affordable Housing Finance Team, West Coast Operations

NewPoint Real Estate Capital LLC, Irvine, Calif., hired Charlie Crowe as Director of Originations. He will be based in NewPoint’s Irvine office and will focus on providing affordable housing owners and developers with the company’s Proprietary, Agency and HUD/FHA financing products. 

Prior to joining NewPoint, Crowe was Director of Finance at non-profit affordable housing developer Burbank Housing, where he led the firm’s overall capital strategy, oversaw enterprise-level capital raising and managed project-level debt and equity initiatives for a 3,200-unit portfolio. Before that, he spent six years with Freddie Mac Multifamily, most recently on the Targeted Affordable Housing Structured Production Team, working to originate, structure and securitize unique products such Q-Deals, M-Deals and SMART Deals.

Guild Mortgage Adds Loan Officers, Branch Offices in California

Guild Mortgage, San Diego, added a new district made up of 40 new employees and eight branch offices in California. John Lowe has been named district manager of the new district.

Lowe moves to Guild with 40 team members, including: area managers Chris Owen and Joanne Hender; branch managers Doug Grenz, Don Petty, Gwen Chyz, Jeremy Kurtz, Marco Guerra and Steve Weninger; sales manager Debra Morsan; six transaction coordinators and four processors.

The 20 loan officers joining Guild are: Alejandra Torres, Alex Alvarez, Alex Innocentes, Caleb Kurtz, Cameron Elkins, Carolyn Gregory, Cecilia Duran, Cole Wilson, Crystal Turben, Jennifer Guerra, Jeremy Massari, Joanna Busalacchi, Kandice Castro, Kelly Cort, Lisa Jones, Mari Sanchez, Meghan Dinublio, Monica Cuevas, Tommy Allums and Vincent Piegaro.

Paul Donahue Joins Greystone as Managing Director

Greystone, New York, announced Paul Donahue joined the firm as a Managing Director. He brings more than 35 years of real estate capital markets expertise to Greystone’s lending platform and is based in Boston.

Prior to joining Greystone, Donahue was a Senior Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital where he served capital needs of pension fund advisors, family office, affordable housing sponsors and institutional clients with debt solutions across a range of asset types across the country. Throughout his career, he held roles at CBRE, Berkshire Mortgage Finance and Krupp Realty (now Berkshire Property Advisors).
